Children need vitamin D3 in order to build strong bones. This tends to be one of the main vitamins that infants and young children lack in their diet since breast milk contains only trace elements of vitamin D. Once the baby is born, DHA is transferred through a nursing mother’s breast milk to the baby. Folate is vital to the development of DNA. Recommended Use: 1-6 years old: Take 1 full dropper (1ml), once daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

For infants: Health Canada recommends that breastfed, healthy babies receive a daily vitamin D supplement of 100-400 IU. Supplementation of the vitamin should begin at birth and continue until one year of age. Baby vitamin D Drops can be placed directly into the baby’s mouth. It can also be dropped onto the breast or pacifier. Just allow your infant to suck for half a minute.
